Falling Leaves

INGREDIENTS

  • 45ml Jean Gin
  • 20ml Orange Juice
  • 20ml Lemon juice
  • 15ml Sugar Syrup (1:1 sugar & boiling water)
  • 1 Egg White (or substitute with a cocktail foaming agent)
  • 30ml Red Wine (a peppery Merlot or Cabernet)
  • Orange Peel


METHOD

In a cocktail shaker, add the Gin, orange juice, lemon juice, sugar syrup & egg white. Dry shake (shake with no ice).

Add ice to the shaker & shake, hard. Sieve shaken mixture over ice.

Slowly pour the red wine over the back of a teaspoon so that the wine floats on top of the drink.

Garnish with the orange peel.
