The Tasters’ Pick is given to the stand out gin in each category from the esteemed tasting panel, Tash McGill (Head Taster), George Grbich, Steve Bennett MW and Claire Filer from Guide to New Zealand Gin

Complex Kaffir lime, green spice and bitter peel on the nose carries through to the palate with additional orange peel, bush honey and a dry finish.

“As a group, we came to the conclusion that the complexity and balance of classic botanicals with supporting Kaffir Lime, Manuka, and a dry finish best represented a ‘Classic Style’ gin amongst the 40 NZ Gins tasted in this category.
